The PM is simple, time effective, and flexible. One can also make a tremendous amount of progress on it. Some on the forum use it as a change of pace from ROP. Thanks, the little guy is a bundle of joy I agree with you on the PM it's just that it can get a bit boring after a while. Well, I'm man enough to admit mistakes, but somehow I completely missed pages as Com. Stefan pointed out. It's all laid out there and is exactly what I was asking for! My apologies everyone. Curious though, why wasn't this included with the chapter named the RKC Rite of Passage that starts on page 77?!?
This is why I was confused as that chapter simply talks about the clean, groove, and snatch then skips to chapter 4. Even with my poor reading skills, you all should be more polite comrades! Let's not be nasty with each other ok? Thanks everyone for your input. Again, maybe someone will read this later and it will help them.

ROP - It's a great challenge Into my 4th week - got a good indicator yesterday of my strength when I'd pumped out 50 pull ups and the guy next to me was struggling to do bi curls with 5kg dubmbells Turning scrawny into brawny. Or if you want to go for a run, do that. This book, in my opinion does have it's weaknesses It's vague and also doesn't account for any type of squatting. So my suggestion is do some squatting of variety days if you like. I also don't believe you can get to snatches on an easy day of snatching and under 12 minutes of swings alone, but we'll get to that later. Snake eyes! Rest until the top of each minute I like these squats better than goblet squats. If not, the bell will fall out of the rack.
Swings felt good. Did them in a nice pace, didn't really open it up. Did my set, walk a lap around my basement, did another set. The bell felt light. On Saturday I was driving to pick my son up from work on this crappy road that is pothole mired.
Bent my rim. When I miraculously made it home, there was 4 PSI in my tire. Allstate Auto came to change it and the rim was bent. On Sunday there was a cone in the crater which I mentioned in the letter along with a picture of my rim and my paid invoice. It's the principle of the matter. It's the beginning of October not the end of March and winter. How about having a little pride and fixing your roads? I dropped the car off and ran from the mechanic's garage around a pond and home. Hadn't run in 2 weeks.
Made it without stopping. It was tiring, and took about 63 minutes. Some of the press were great, punching the bell from the rack overhead. Others, went up slower. Could really feel the grip in my foreams toward the end. For a better experience, please enable JavaScript in your browser before proceeding. You are using an out of date browser.

Questionfear Level 4 Valued Member. I reread several parts of Enter the Kettlebell yesterday because I plan to start Rite of Passage soon. But I am a little confused on a few parts and want to make sure I understand them correctly. Ladder 2, 1 rep, then 1 rep, 2 reps. Ladder 3, 1 rep, then 1 rep, 2 reps, then 1 rep, 2 reps, 3 reps. Or do I do all the rungs like in Ladder 3?
It just seems a little unclear from the book, or I am just missing something. As in, for a more moderate day, use a slightly lighter bell than I would use for a heavy day? Or stick with the same weight all the way through and just change the effort? I have suspension straps, a sturdy table, and a pullup bar, so my thinking was that I would start by getting straight leg under the table horizontal pulls down, then do raised leg horizontal pulls with the suspension straps, then eventually move to negative pullups.
Sorry if some of these are dumb! They are a fantastic workout, they are fun and they are very effective. You are commenting using your WordPress. You are commenting using your Google account.
